Why we still broadcast live

Most of our listeners hear us later, in the archive. We go live anyway, and here is why.

Every show on Radio Onda goes out live, even the ones most people hear a week later in the archive.

Mistakes are the point

A live show can go wrong. A record skips, a guest is late, the phones ring at the wrong moment. Those are the moments listeners remember, and they are why the archive feels like radio and not a playlist.

The studio is open

Because we are live, the studio door is open. Neighbours drop in, bands bring records, and every Thursday the listening session fills the room.

We will keep broadcasting live for as long as someone is listening, and probably a little longer.
